Equipment

  • Blender

Ingredients

  • 1 avocado (skin and seed removed)
  • 200 g frozen broccoli
  • 200 g frozen spinach
  • 1 kapia red pepper
  • 2-3 tbsp whey protein powder (chocolate flavor)
  • 2-3 tbsp chia and hemp seeds
  • 1 tsp ginger powder
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 1/2 tsp Himalayan salt
  • 1 slice lemon
  • 350 ml water (or enough to cover the ingredients)

Instructions

  • Prep all the ingredients as need, add into blender and cover with water.
  • Blend everything until you obtain the desired texture.
  • Enjoy fresh or store in the fridge for 2-3 days.

Notes

  • Color: light green to yellow
  • Texture: creamy, some seeds
  • Taste: healthy greens + chocolate

Feel like going vegan? Great! Simply replace the whey protein powder with a vegan powder like pea protein or hemp protein, or skip it altogether.
If the lemon you’re using is not organic, do not use its skin due to health risks associated with pesticides present in the skin of conventionally grown lemons (and other citrus fruits for that matter).
